This Privacy Policy explains what information Ad.Guru ("Ad.Guru", "we", "us") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. Ad.Guru is a publisher monetization network: we help website and app publishers monetize display, app and video inventory with premium direct demand, Google Ad Exchange (AdX) and Open Bidding demand.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide. When you contact us through the form on this site, we collect your full name, email address, the domains or apps you list, your total monthly pageviews or downloads, your Google Ad Manager network code (if you provide one), and any message you include. Form submissions are delivered to us by email and are not stored in a website database. If you become a publisher, we also collect the account, payment and tax information needed to operate your account and pay you.
Information collected automatically. When you visit this site, our hosting provider records standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) for security and operations. This site does not run advertising or analytics cookies of its own; see our Cookie Policy.
Information involved in ad serving. When our monetization technology serves ads on a publisher's website or app, advertising partners — primarily Google — may collect or receive device and usage information (such as IP address, device identifiers, cookie IDs and ad interaction data) as described in Section 4 and our Cookie Policy.
2. How we use information
- To respond to your enquiries and evaluate your inventory for monetization;
- To create and operate publisher accounts, serve and optimize advertising, and measure performance;
- To calculate earnings and make payments;
- To detect invalid activity, prevent fraud and enforce our Publisher Policy;
- To operate, secure and improve our services, and to comply with legal obligations.
3. How we share information
We share information only as needed to run the service: with demand and technology partners involved in serving and measuring ads (primarily Google Ad Exchange and Open Bidding buyers); with service providers who support our operations (such as email delivery, hosting and payment processing), under contract; and where required by law or to protect our rights. We do not sell personal information.
4. Google and advertising partners
Most demand on Ad.Guru comes through Google Ad Exchange and Open Bidding. Google's use of information is described in Google's Privacy Policy and in Google's disclosure of how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. Publishers using Ad.Guru must disclose these practices in their own privacy policies, as required by our Publisher Policy.
5. Retention
We keep contact-form emails and publisher account information for as long as needed to respond, operate the account, meet legal, tax and accounting requirements, and resolve disputes. Server logs are kept for a limited period.
6. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, and to object to or restrict its processing. To exercise a right, contact us at [email protected]. You can control advertising personalization as described in our Cookie Policy.
7. Children
Ad.Guru is a business service for publishers. Our services are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction).
